Public Information and Participation (PIP)

The goals of the Public Information and Participation (PIP) component include:

  • To educate the public about the causes of stormwater pollution and its serious effects on the quality of local creeks, lagoons, shorelines, and neighborhoods.
  • To encourage residents to adopt less polluting and more environmentally beneficial practices.
  • To increase residents' hands-on involvement in SMCWPPP activities.

PIP Meetings
Meetings are open to the public.

Time: 10am to Noon; 2nd Tuesday of every other month
