Program Goals

Part of our goal at Flows To Bay is to make sure residents, businesses, teachers, and students understand the effects of stormwater pollution and how they can help prevent it. Together with our community partners, including the Bay Area Water Supply Conservation Agency, Master Gardeners, Office of Sustainability, we attend and table various community events to help spread the water pollution prevention message. We also put on fun, free, and educational workshops where residents can learn skills such as installing their own rain barrel or starting their own rain gardens at home. Check out our community calendar for these types of events.

Outreach Materials

You can view and download educational and reference materials here such as stormwater factsheets, pollution prevention guidance, and learning & school-aged resources. Single copies and items of the these materials are available for free to people who live or work in San Mateo County. Larger orders will be considered for teachers, groups, and organizations as supply permits. Email your requests to info@flowstobay.org.
