Postponed – Climate Champion Series Workshop #3: Gardening Against Climate Change (Online)

We’re excited to offer a new three-part Climate Champion Series (CCS), presented three subsequent Saturdays in June. This series of workshops connects recycling, composting, and climate-positive gardening as related actions to combat climate change. Each workshop can be attended alone, or as part of the series to build understanding of the interconnectedness of these practices that reduce emissions that lead to climate change.
CCS Workshop #3: Gardening Against Climate Change – ONLINE
This workshop begins by defining “carbon sequestration” and “carbon farming,” and how they relate to GHG reduction. We’ll then describe a few relatively easy, affordable garden projects that result in onsite carbon sequestration.
